Beautiful You - Antique Style

Welcome back everyone to our second blog hop for February, we are so blessed to have the wonderful Georgia Giguere joining us this month. Our theme is to CASE one of Georgia's cards or projects. CASE: Choose one of Georgia's cards/projects and selectively copy or edit to create your own card/project.

This is Georgia's Card I have chosen to CASE

With my card I have used from Georgia's card the "Lots of Labels Framelits" and applied them to my card using the "Beautiful You" stamp set. I have chosen to go antique style keeping my colors neutral and using the beautiful Falling In Love DSP when I paper pierced the girl's image dress and umbrella.

My Card

My name is Angela Westland and I reside in a small country town in Queensland, Australia with my husband and our beautiful burmese cat "Bobby". I love to create with paper, stamps and ink. I hope you like my card. I have a UTUBE CHANNEL  with many ideas, tips and cards so please check it out.

I have dry embossed my card with Versamark Ink and some white embossing powder and set with a heat tool. I have used Early Espresso as my base card, first mat is Pear Pizzazz which I have embossed also with the white embossing powder and I have used the stamp set "First Sight".as it has a lovely swirl stamp, just the thing to cheer someone up when they are feeling down.

I have added some pearls and ribbon and a lovely "Just For You" and "Get Well Wishes" sentiment.

Sealed With Love

I created this card using the Sealed With Love Bundle, Sending Love Paper Stack, Sending Love Combo Pack Ribbon and the Real Red Cardstock. I made my tag into a shaker tag by using the Layering Circle Framelits and have enclosed some heart sequins inside the shaker tag from the Brights Sequins Collection. Then I added my sentiment from the Sealed With Love Stamp Set and finished off by using Pearls and Rhinestones (Jewels) and a border cut from the Love Notes Framelits.

Flower Shop and Petite Petals

I decided to try my hand at this color challenge at Global Design Project #GDP073, I haven't done one for a while and these colors were a real challenge for me. I decided to make my own background by stamping using my versamark ink pad and dry embossing with white embossing powder. I then used the 3 colors in the challenge to sponge over my dry embossing background.

I then made my flowers using the same method and colors using the Flower Shop and Petite Petals Stamp Sets, layered my flowers using dimensionals, cardstock, buttons, pearls, enamel shapes and ribbon to make it jump off the card.

Jar of Love

Welcome back to our first blog hop for February, we are so privileged to have the talented Shannon Lane joining us this time. Our theme this blog hop is to CASE one of Shannon's cards or projects. CASE: Copy/ Selectively edit.

This is Shannon's card I have chosen to CASE!

I have chosen to use the Jar of Love Bundle from Shannon's card and make my own card using this wonderful bundle. With my card I stamped and diecut all my elements first in my chosen colors and made a bouquet of flowers for my card. I love putting a lot of dimension on my cards and I have shown what you can achieve with this Jar Of Love Photopolymer Bundle. I have seen a lot using the Jar's so wanted to do something completely different.
