Country Livin Meets Lovely As A Tree

Welcome back fellow crafters, I really enjoyed making this card using the Country Livin' and Lovely As A Tree Stamp Sets. There was a lot of coloring with Stampin' Up!'s new water coloring pencils. I firstly cut a piece of watercolor paper and sponged it with three colors for my background, then stamped the trees in early espresso ink, stamped my car in Stazon Jet Black Ink and colored it. I used the sentiment from Guy Greetings.

Vertical Greetings

Hi fellow crafters, I am back using the Vertical Greetings Stamp Set again. I can see how this stamp set can be overlooked but I am enjoying creating with it. I have used some DSP from Cupcakes and Carousels, then using some thick whisper white cardstock I have sponged two of the panels. One with Soft Sky and one in Pink Pirouette and then using Chocolate Chip stamped my image onto the sponged area. Applied the images to the cardstock using dimensionals to the  Soft Sky and Pink Pirouette cardstock. I also have done some paper piercing on the pots that the trees are in, this is a very easy and effective technique to make your stamped images pop off your card.

First Sight

I can't believe I haven't used this stamp set as yet until today, I just love it. The swirl stamp in the set is so beautiful. I have done a Triple Layered Card for you today with a bit of a twist. I've seen a lot of ladies do these but I wanted a vintage look so before I started stamping I sponged the background with 3 colors. TIP: you would need to take your time when sponging the 3 layers together so you get a nice blended sponged look. I tell all my customers and friends if you want to sponge you must take your time so it blends well, it's not a technique to be rushed. I love sponging I find it so relaxing!!

World Wide Open Design Team Griselda

Welcome back fellow crafters, I was delighted to be asked to join this wonderful Design Team "World Wide Open Design Team". So if you are in a Design Team anywhere in the world please enter this wonderful challenge HERE! The theme is always Anything Goes, you just need to be on a Design Team anywhere in the world to enter.

For my first project for this fabulous design team I have used the digi image "Griselda" which can be found HERE! This image was designed by our sponsor Julia Spiri from Spain, please support our sponsor by visiting her store HERE!!

When designing my card I first colored my lovely Griselda image with my Zig Real Colour Brush Pens, then using a blending tool I lightly sponged around Griselda with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink Pad. I then embossed a piece of Arches Smooth 300gsm Watercolour Paper with the embossing folder "Brick Wall" from Stampin' Up!® and sponged it with Walnut Stain Distress Ink Pad. I then put my card together adding some lace, ribbon, butterflies and created two clusters of roses.

Beautiful You and Lovely As A Tree

I just can't get enough of this new stamp set in the Occasions Catalogue "Beautiful You", it is so versatile and this time I have teamed it up with one of my other favourite stamp Sets
 "Lovely As A Tree".

With this card I firstly sponged some watercolor paper for a nice smooth effect, Then I stamped my trees from the "Lovely As A Tree" Stamp Set and added my sentiment from "Beautiful You" stamp set. I then stamped my lovely lady in black and using the layering oval framelits cut her out with my Big Shot. I then paper pierced her dress and umbrella and added it to my card with dimensionals.

Picture Perfect Rose Card

I have done another card using the Perfect Picture Stamp Set and the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set, they really compliment each other. I have stamped the rose image and added it to my card with dimensionals, added some lovely lace and ribbon and then sponged the left top corner where I stamped the leaves. It didn't actually turn out how I wanted it to but I think it is a great card to show what you can do with the combination of different stamps.

Picture Perfect

I have chosen the stamp set "Picture Perfect" to create my card for you today. I have used the bird image (4 images) to create the bird, I used my Big Shot for one of them and used the Stitched Shaped Framelits and then fussy cut the second bird and applied it to my card using dimensionals. I have used some DSP from the Brights Designer Series 12x12 paper stack and a lovely paper lace doily. The Hat Pin, Roses, resin flowers and tile I have used from my craft stash.

High Tide

I have used the stamp set "High Tide"to create my seaside scene. Firstly, I have used the Hardwood stamp set to create my background and sponged it lightly with 3 colors. I then used the High Tide stamp set to create my scene.

I will be publishing a tutorial on how I did the background firstly, then another tutorial on how to create the scene. Check out my Utube Channel for more tutorials.
